We fell in love with the Occitan coastline and its hills several decades ago and chose to settle in the Corbières in 2024.

We have arranged our home so we can share it with you and help you discover the splendours of the region.

Between sea and mountains, you can enjoy the Mediterranean coast with its fine sandy beaches and still unspoilt landscapes, and peacefully savour the benefits of the sun and the light, in every season, in our hills and valleys.

You will be amazed by the beauty of the surrounding landscapes, full of renowned historic treasures. On your walks you will discover small intimate chapels, dizzying Cathar sites, unexpected gorges carved into the mountains, the scents of the garrigue, the song of cicadas, the Corbières and Fitou wine route, farmers’ markets offering fruit and honey, and the pastoral tradition of goat herding. For sportier guests, the Corbières are very popular with cyclists and offer many climbing routes (an exercise bike is available in the house). You can also enjoy the region’s cultural and festive events (Les Déferlantes in Barcarès, the LGBT film festival in Perpignan, baroque music at Fontfroide, the Gallo-Roman site of Narbonne, the spectacular firework display over the city of Carcassonne…) or simply relax on the sun loungers and in the south-facing pool, heated from mid-April to mid-November.
