Every year in June, Gay Pride Lille is organized by LGP Lille. A citizen group that wants to promote the rights of the LGBT community in Lille. Whether through a Village, gay pride parade or prevention, the organization strives to promote rights and equality. The first gay pride of Lille goes back to 1996. For several years, about 1000 people met for this Gay Pride. Today, Gay Pride Lille is very active and attracts more than 2000 people annually from the north of France, but also from all over Belgium.
