Description

  • Gay Beach Gay-Friendly

Located in Bidart, between Biarritz and Guéthary, 100 Marches Beach is one of the most unspoilt and discreet spots on the Basque coast. Set at the foot of the cliffs, this sandy beach offers a beautiful natural setting, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the green hills of the Basque Country on the other.

Known for its relaxed and discreet atmosphere, 100 Marches Beach is also popular with gay and naturist visitors. It is a great place to enjoy the sun, swim, sunbathe, surf, or simply relax away from the busier beaches of Biarritz.

Access requires a little effort: as the name suggests, you need to walk down a path and steps from the upper part of Bidart. There is no car park directly on the beach; it is best to park on the Bidart plateau, near Erretegia or close to Pavillon Royal, then continue on foot. Be careful with the tides: some seaside access routes are only possible at low tide. The beach is not supervised, so swimming is at your own risk.
