Discover the magnificent Loire Valley castles while staying in a unique place: a manor house set within a small 18th-century estate. This distinctive site is inspired by the spirit of curiosity cabinets and scientific expeditions of the Enlightenment.
Once owned by a royal officer, the estate holds a special history from World War II, which we’ll be happy to share with you during your stay.
The property features a landscaped and designed garden with a jacuzzi, a pond, and a protected small wooded area. It also boasts an exceptional site: 650 m² of vaulted troglodyte caves, including a former mushroom farm and a large limestone spring. Since May 2023, the estate has also been recognized as a LPO bird protection refuge (Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux).
In addition to our five fully renovated guest rooms, combining heritage and modern comfort, you’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a private salon/cabinet of curiosities/billiards room exclusively reserved for our guests.
One of the owners is a scientific illustrator with nearly 15 years of experience—a rare discipline that emerged in the same historical period and which she has taught for many years. You can visit her studio on the property or take part in introductory workshops to discover this fascinating field. A scientific tattoo studio is also located at the back of the estate.
