Welcome to La Ferté Beauharnais,
We welcome you to an exceptional setting where tradition and nature meet in harmony.
La Ferté Beauharnais, a château dating back to the 15th and 18th centuries, and its 15-hectare English-style park, are located in the heart of the Sologne region, just 35 km from the greatest châteaux of the Loire Valley: Chambord, Cheverny, Blois...
For many years, it was the property of the Beauharnais family: Josephine Empress and her children, Eugène Viceroy of Italy, then Hortense Queen of Holland and mother of Napoleon III. He was not yet Emperor, but already President of the Republic when he visited here.
These are places steeped in history, and if you ask the owner, he'll tell you all about the tales and legends of the Sologne region.
These are places bathed in nature, between forests and ponds, that inspire rest and relaxation. Don't be surprised if you come across deer, roe deer, pheasants, partridges, red squirrels and rabbits during your stay.
Places of gastronomy and hunting, from tarte Tatin to meat pies, not forgetting Sologne caviar.
We look forward to welcoming you and providing you with a wonderful experience.
