Slow mornings, good breakfasts
Breakfast is a time to settle in and enjoy the morning. Homemade treats, local and artisan produce, seasonal flavours and thoughtful touches give you plenty to savour, with no need to rush.

Pool & jacuzzi
Ease into our heated saltwater pool, with its shallow sun shelf, or unwind in the jacuzzi at 36 °C. Access to both is included in your stay.
Garden & clothing-optional relaxation
Clothing-optional means the choice is yours: enjoy the garden with or without clothes. Villa Balāo is a relaxed guesthouse, not a swingers’ venue.
Sun loungers, shady corners and a pétanque court invite you to enjoy the Mediterranean garden.
At our table & nearby
When our schedule allows, join us for a shared meal at the house. Drinks, light dishes and sweet treats are also available on site during the day.
Several restaurants are also a short walk away, so you can leave the car behind.
Massages & wellbeing
Unwind with a personalised massage in our treatment room, provided by an independent professional. Book in advance; an additional charge applies.

The Mediterranean within easy reach
Between Sète and Montpellier, Villa Balāo is well placed to explore the landscapes and easy rhythm of Mediterranean life. Nearby, long sandy beaches, including several naturist beaches popular with gay visitors , invite you to enjoy the sea and sunshine.
Explore the Étang de Thau, its oyster-farming villages and vineyards, the canals of Sète, local markets and regional flavours. Balaruc-les-Bains, Bouzigues, Marseillan, Frontignan, Mèze, Montpellier, Pézenas, Aniane and Cap d’Agde offer a choice of outings, from historic streets and nature to good food and the local gay scene.
Bikes are also available to hire on site, so you can explore the surrounding area at your own pace.

We live on site and are happy to offer advice, while respecting your peace and privacy.
The house and its relaxation areas are exclusively for guests staying with us. We do not offer day passes or pool access for outside visitors.
