Dreamers of an evening or disciples of travel, discover Le Boudoir Monsieur Aurélien, a real intimate cocoon conducive to the experience of a couple's or solo getaway... in the heart of the Spa and Ski Town of Mont-Dore in the Massif of Sancy.

A unique and atypical 25m2 suite, where you will find the quality of a hotel, the charm of a guest house and the freedom of a rental.

The impression of comfort and softness is total and the feeling of being at home, of being able to indulge in a unique well-being, will let you succumb to the charm of the place.

The Boudoir Monsieur Aurélien consists of:
- an entrance hall on the ground floor
- upstairs, its living rooms:
* a sleeping area with a high quality Queen Size bed - 160*200 with duvet and 4 pillows. The bed will be made upon your arrival with washed linen bed linen, very soft and supple to the touch,
* a shower room with its 120*80 Italian-style shower, its vanity unit and its wall-mounted toilet. Towel dryer, hair dryer as well as the bath linen provided (bath sheets, honeycomb towels, gloves and bath mats),
* the kitchen is fully equipped: induction hob, extractor hood, traditional oven, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, kettle as well as everything you need to prepare your meals as well as crockery/glassware/ cutlery and table linen, tea towels, napkins.
Also available are the usual everyday products: (sponge, trash bag, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, LV tablets, multisurface, etc.), basic products for the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar) as well as a courtesy tray of ground coffee, “Mariage Frères” tea, sugar.
* the living room with the open kitchen is equipped with a sofa and a dining area.

A breakfast package (optional) is offered to start the day off on the right foot.

And you will find a selection of good little dishes in jars in the Fine Food Shop to prepare your dinners.

In order to enjoy a moment of relaxation and rest you will find different books, magazines as well as a vintage radio modernized with its FM module or working with your smartphone or tablet.

So no television, but secure and free WiFi access so you don't completely cut yourself off from the world.

For 13 years, I managed the luxury hotel group “Les Hôtels Particuliers”. Founded and chaired by Philippe Savry, the brand strived to restore a soul to the heritage of places as emblematic as the Abbey of Vaux-de-Cernay, the Citadelle Vauban of Belle-Île-en-mer, as well as the Château of Varillettes, in Cantal…

As I turned 40, I wanted to create my own place of art of living: a “home” combining the good and the beautiful, refinement and authenticity.

I then discovered the Sarciron, an old palace which, during the glorious era of the Belle Epoque, rivaled the Ritz, the Négresco or the Carlton. With the golden age of hydrotherapy, Mont-Dore was then a very fashionable resort.

It was in the “first class” dining room of the former Spa Palace, decorated by me, that I created “Monsieur Aurélien”, a concept store combining Fine Food Shops, Confectionery Chocolate Shops and Tea Rooms.
I wanted to reconnect with the charms of the Belle Époque in the service of indulgence and the art of living.
I offer a selection of high-end products from French artisans, some of which bear the EPV label: Bonnat chocolatier, Maison Cruzilles, Mariage Frères, Conserverie La Belle-Iloise, Maison Laborie cured meats, etc.

Made up of a few tables of two, my intimate tea room invites you to taste the products on sale at the boutique. The best-seller is the just-warmed Proust madeleine, which can be enjoyed with a choice of 5 old-fashioned hot chocolates to recall childhood memories.
When he came to take the waters at the Thermal Baths, Marcel Proust was a regular there.

In 2022, I was able to transform the neighboring store into a space of more than 20m2 dedicated to decoration in a “country & mountain chic” spirit.
I offer a complete range of tableware, decorative objects, household linen, small furniture, curtains, cushions, throws, custom-made upholstery fabrics with mainly French brands: Arpin, Maison Yak, Manufacture by Digoin, Sylvie Thiriez, La Rochère…

In June 2023, I resumed my hotelier role by creating “Le Boudoir Monsieur Aurélien” - an atypical luxurious hotel suite of 25m2, just above my boutique.
This high-end setting dedicated to the Belle Époque combines the quality of a hotel, the charm of a guest house and the freedom of a rental. I have preserved the soul of the place - full of history and authenticity - and created a careful and elegant decoration with only French brands, mainly offered in my shop.
