Sarlat , Périgueux and the Dordogne Overview

 

Sarlat is the town in Europe with the highest number of heritage listed monuments per sqm. 1000 years of architecture are to be discovered in its old streets: roofs covered with "lauzes" (flat stones), yellow-stone walls, etc. Elegance and serenity prevail in Sarlat.

SARLAT is a true invitation to strolling in time. Do not miss the beautiful Maison de la Boétie and, in the Rue des Consuls, you will see a fountain and a wonderful staircase in the house ooposite.
