experience
Your Franco-German hosts - Valérie and Frank - come from the world of the performing arts. They opened new perspectives and turned their attention to viticulture. They will make your stay unforgettable. They have the gift of hospitality and leave you cherries and nuts .. (in season!) They love to share their passion for the production of organic wine. Your holiday cottage a 400 years old Dovecote, beautifully renovated, washed ocher, with sunny terrace all in an idyllic old farm in the middle of vineyards and five minutes walk from the village or flows peacefully the Dordogne. Take a few steps to enter the vaulted and bright living room with stone flooring, high quality minimalist furniture and old walls. The kitchen is simple, the bedroom is cool and bright and there are two singles on the mezzanine. Saint-Emilion is a 20-minute drive away, the beaches of Arcachon, museums and Bordeaux's quays are easily accessible by car or train. The village has its restaurant and the good tables are legions. In the summer, Castillon plays a reconstruction of the last Battle of the Hundred Years War.
