Our guest house is located near the town of MONTAUROUX, one of nine charming hilltop villages that make up the FAYENCE COUNTRY.
Located in Provence, in the Var, on the edge of the Maritime Alps, near the capital of perfumes (Grasse), this idyllic location between sea and mountains offer the opportunity to discover the landscapes of the Var countryside, local heritage and regional (architecture, gastronomy, history, religion) through known locations, very close and easily accessible, such as Saint Tropez, Nice, Cannes, Grasse or less known -but no less intéressantes-: Vence, Saint Maximin, Biot, the Thoronet, Moustiers.

The property

A fountain, olive trees ... The valley of the make of the olive tree that is the valley of the fountain of the olive tree. Thus that was historically named our valley. A substantial period of frost in the 1950s and the abandonment of olive cultivation have permanently transformed the landscape. The valley was gradually covered with oak and pine trees.

Near woods, the property is now planted with olive trees that side with roses, lavender and jasmine, so we named our property:

In a quiet environment, near Lake Saint Cassian and the throats of Siagne, we welcome you to a relaxing stay in comfortable rooms, each with separate toilet and well equipped bathroom.

The room "paint"

The "paint" room seems to answer the call of Arles painter. Among the paintings of Gilles Duran, Var painter, and his view on the valley planted with lavender and olive trees, this spacious room (19m2) is a relaxing place, it offers a pleasant light. The orientation of its private terrace of 15 m2 south / southeast for enjoying the sunshine in peace.

This room is an invitation to enjoy the present moment and get carried away by the magic of the moment. On the walls are exposed photographs of Guy Thouvignon photographer at the Ile du Levant, creator of universes and "enhancer" of the body.

Very spacious room of 23m2 on the first floor is bright and sunny with orientation south / southeast. Its large private terrace (16m2) offers a clear view over the valley await the traveler in all periods of the year.

Picasso museum in Antibes-Juan les Pins and chapel in Fréjus, Cocteau museum in Menton, Giacometti is exposed to the Maeght Foundation in Saint Paul de Vence. They inspired us to decorate this room.

In this spacious 18m2 in ground garden, everything you ordered relax to the soothing light of the domain. The clear, bright room faces south / southeast. Its interior provides an overview of crafts in the Fayence and encourages you to abandon yourself to the good life. Its terrace to fully enjoy the simple pleasures of the place: quiet, sunshine.

Good to know: Room suitable for the disabled.

This vast room of 19m2 ground garden is bathed in light thanks to its orientation south-south / east. Many artists have stayed or lived in the area, and many museums have interesting collections, In this room you will find lithographs inviting you to extend by a museum visit, the discovery of the works of famous artists.

Good to know: this room can be attached to the "music" room and compose a suite.

A few kilometers from the coast, in our beautiful valley, Baudelaire sea is sure to take you away. Decorated carefully combines different musical influences and multiple sign of openness and sharing invitation.

This vast room of 21m2 ground garden is bright and enjoys the first rays of the rising sun. Adjacent to the "arts" room, it can turn into suite. Facing east with private terrace of 18 m2, it offers a clear view of the garden and the valley bottom.

Library offering variety of novels, essays, or guides and tourist brochures to help you organize your stay.

The dining room allows us to receive you at the dinner table.

In order to find peace and harmony, we have tried, wherever our knowledge and our ability to implement the Feng Shui to arrange, decorate the house and its environment.


We offer a breakfast on the terrace or in the shade of oaks. We choose local handicrafts or home.


We are pleased to welcome you to dinner Tuesday night and Friday night.

Served under the canopy of oaks on the terrace or in the dining room, the table of guests is an important usability time for us as it promotes trade with ease and allows us to talk about regional dishes and specialties .

We're up to you these dishes with fresh products from the gardens, local orchards and farms and coastal fisheries to availability.

The hosts offer, from 4 guests, a unique menu consisting of: an appetizer, a starter, a main course, and dessert, coffee / tea, AOC wine. This menu is presented to you yesterday. Price 30 euros / person.

Une résidence moderne pour le calme, le repos et la détente dans un lieu bien situé pour des escapades, des visites et des découvertes. La possibilité de se préparer des petits repas à la cuisine d'été est un plus. Un seul regret, nous avions réservé la table pour le premier soir mais faute d'autres convives nous n'avons pas pu déguster leur diner.

Jacques et Didier sont adorables. Piscine, petit déjeuner avec fraises du jardin, crumble et brioche maison. Ils prennent du temps de convivialité avec chacun et sont de bons conseils. Lieux décoré avec goût, propreté. Possibilité de cuisine extérieure. Nous recommandons vivement.

Formidable séjour au vallon des Oliviers. Cet endroit est magique pour le calme et la beauté des lieux. Très bien situé au cœur du pays de Faïence. Jacques et Didier sauront parfaitement vous conseiller sur les balades à ne pas manquer. Chambres spacieuses très propres. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Didier cuisine très bien et nous vous conseillons vraiment la table d'hôtes. Piscine, cuisine d'été très bien équipée invitent à la convivialité entres les hôtes. Un endroit à recommander. Trop court passage d'une nuit dans ce lieu magnifique meme en Janvier. Accueil sans fausses notes de Jacques et Didier. Chambre spacieuse, confortable et lumineuse. La table d'hôtes était un régal et nous a permis de passer une très agréable soirée dans une maison à la décoration soignée. Mention spéciale à Olivier, masseur pro, qui y propose des massages très agréables surtout par une apres midi d'hiver.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans la chambre d’hôte Le Vallon des Oliviers du 7 aout au 14 aout 2016, les chambres sont modernes, très propres et bien équipées et ont une très bonne literie. L'environnement est très calme et reposant. Le cadre est magnifique, dès le petit déjeuner pris en commun nous pouvons admirer le super paysage. Le gros point positif est la cuisine d'été qui nous a permis une très bonne entente et un partage avec les autres vacanciers. Lors des soirées barbecue tous ensembles l'ambiance étaient très conviviale. La piscine est superbe, baignade à 27 degrés en pleine nature. Les hôtes Didier et Jacques sont aux petits soins, très accueillants et communicatifs, nous avons apprécié la relation installé avec eux, ils sont toujours de bons conseils. Didier est un excellent cuisinier, les confitures maisons au petit déjeuné sont délicieuses ! Les alentours de la maison d’hôtes sont agréables à visiter : les villages perchés, le lac st Cassien ... C'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons dans la maison d’hôtes de Jacques et Didier pour renouveler cette superbe expérience! Je vous le recommande à 100 % Les Nordistes (59)
