The first festival of current music in the south of France in terms of attendance, Les Plages Électroniques have had a real popular success since their creation in 2005.

This festival, organized by the association Les Plages Électroniques in partnership with the City of Cannes, transforms for a few hours the public beach of the Palais des Festivals into a gigantic ephemeral dancefloor, feet in the sand at the edge of the water.
