This former 16th century watermill has been completely renovated while retaining its character.

The mill is divided into 2 wings, connected by a kitchen. I live in one of them all year round; the other is for you.

This one includes : - bedroom with a double bed (180x200cm) or 2 single beds (bed linen provided) - Italian shower area with washbasin (towels provided) - living room (the old machinery) with a sofa bed, WC.

The kitchen (fully equipped) and the living room library with its wood stove are two spaces shared between you and me. As well as the huge and multiple green spaces, all located under a refreshing canopy, and the river which flows 30 meters from the mill.

I also live with a hiker's cat (he follows me on my mountain trips) who likes to lounge by the fire. But in no case has access to your private spaces.

The outside spaces of the mill are entirely open to the surrounding nature. The surrounding garrigue offers beautiful walks. On the way back, you can dip your feet in the waterfall and enjoy the fruits of the apple, fig and plum trees.

This unusual place is located at the foot of the Cévennes National Park. Adventurers can set off on hikes to discover sublime panoramas. Heritage lovers will enjoy the proximity of the four most beautiful villages of France located in the Gard (Montclus, Lussan, Aigueze and la Roque sur Cèze).

The mill is also located at the crossroads of the Ardèche and its famous Gorges, ideal for canoeing, and the Gard Rhodanien (Uzes, Pont du Gard and Avignon).

Finally, heading south, visitors can enjoy trips to Nîmes, Montpellier or the Mediterranean. The proximity of Les Fumades, a resort renowned for the virtue of its waters since Gallo-Roman times, offers today reinvented wellness escapades to take advantage of the benefits of thermal water

Deeply attached to the Cévennes, I would like to share my passion for the region, hiking, and reunions, by welcoming you to the Moulin du Rubeguet. It is in this family farmhouse that I (re)settled after years abroad. In winter, the mill serves as a base from which to practice my profession: international journalist. In the summer I share this magical place, we transform it into a gourmet and cultural guinguette, along the water.
