House built before 1900. The Duke of Edinburgh, husband of the Queen of England, went there as a child to take piano lessons during his stays in Berck with his family. The Empress Eugenie (origin of the name of the street) and the Prince Imperial came to Berck to inaugurate the Napoleon hospital in July 1869, which became the Maritime hospital in 1870.
