Our house is an old farmhouse typical of the Périgord, overlooking a small valley where our land descends in a flowery meadow to our fully fenced and wooded pond. In front of us is the forest.
The ground floor bedroom for 2 or 4 with its private entrance to the garden has its bathroom (shower) and separate wc. Area of 18m2. Comfortable 160 x 200 bed. Very high ceilings with exposed beams and stone wall. if you are 4: In the mezzanine of 13m2, another 160 bed is present. The mezzanine is with sloping ceilings.
Upstairs 2 bedrooms with their shared bathroom. Bathtub and 2 washbasins and private toilets.
We never rent these 2 rooms to different clients. If you are only 2, the 2nd bedroom will not be rented during your stay. The first bedroom has an area of 15m2, 140/200 bed, very comfortable mattress. She has a double exposure.
The 2nd bedroom has an area of 11 m2 and a 140/190 bed also very comfortable.
French-style breakfast is not included. We offer it at € 8 per person. It is served outdoors or indoors. It consists of a hot drink, homemade orange juice, pastries, bread and jams, muesli and yogurt. We do not accept credit card.
A good Wi-Fi connection is available in the common living rooms, breakfast room and lounge, but can be difficult in the rooms and outside.
Due to the COVID19 crisis, breakfasts are served on separate tables between the different customers to ensure distance. We ask customers to wear a mask and disinfect their hands with hydro alcoholic gel when entering the interior common areas. The rooms are carefully disinfected between each change of client.
The outdoor spaces guarantee distance and we serve breakfasts in good weather.
The pond is completely fenced for security reasons. We have our customers sign a release letter of responsibility if they want to take advantage of the pond space and be given the access key to it.
Customers have access to the indoor lounge, the winter garden with its lounge and relaxation area "café", the 3 ha plot with its gardens, the pond under conditions of compliance with safety standards. We regret not being able to accept children under the age of 12 due to dangers in the outdoor areas. (unprotected high walls)
We are located 15km from Sarlat, 5 km from Castelnaud la chapelle. In the countryside without nuisance (no road) and not overlooked on 3 hectares surrounded by forest and organic nut crops.
We have a 6000m2 pond fed by 3 sources, fenced and conducive to relaxation and walking.
Many accessible hikes and the main tourist sites of Périgord, Milandes castle at 5km Marqueyssac, Baynac and Cazenac and La Roque Gageac at less than 10km
We live on site and are therefore available to welcome you, for breakfast and for the day if necessary.
We do not make table d'hôte. However, if you do not want to go out for a meal one evening, we can propose you a cold basket-type snack, by notifying us in advance.
The main tourist sites of Périgord are accessible and can be visited in several days. The lot is also very close and can also constitute a day of visit. 10 mins by car, hot air balloon rides, canoeing on the Dordogne, Lascaux and many other prehistoric sites, many outdoor sports activities.

The house and the estate are completely non-smoking, in particular due to the danger of fire in the summer. A dedicated outdoor smoking area is available. The place is quiet, the perfect place for relaxation and meditation.
