Every June, in the centre of Barcelona, for 3 days, Sónar brings together artists and performers at the cutting edge of sound and a restless audience eager for new experiences and encounters.

The festival is a European benchmark because of the quality and attention to detail of its programme. Sónar sends a probe deep into the atmosphere of today's music, and provides an experience that goes far beyond merely watching or listening to a concert.

Sónar includes major names on the international scene and ideas for minority interests; experimentation with risk, and the most cutting edge hedonism and entertainment in digital art.

The 17th Sónar Festival will take place on 17, 18, 19 June 2010.
