One of the most wonderful places to stay with a quintessential Frensh Caribbean charm, amazing breakfast and other meals if desired and a host that is as accommodating, charming, friendly and warm as his beautiful home. The beach is close by, uour in the heart of the village and the streets are buzzing with day and evening foot traffic

Le Carbet was a great place to stay for a vacation. Martinique is beautiful and rather gay friendly (after seeing what we saw at Carnival, two men holding hands is rather tame). However, the best part of our trip was Le Carbet and the warmth from our host, Dominque. He made us feel at home in Le Carbet, and every recommendation he gave was spot on.He made us feel like we were friends staying in his home, and I felt more comfortable there than with my family. We look forward to coming back to Martinique and staying at Le Carbet soon !

Dominique is an amazing host who made us feel so welcome and at home immediately. He suggested places to visit and eat. The location is excellent in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and the local beach, and the ferry to Fort de France. The beds are comfortable and 2m wide. The communal shower is a great idea if the right person is staying! I will definitely return. We are Dominique's first guests from England, and I am sure we will not be the last. It is great to fly from our local airport on Air France avoiding Heathrow!

This is a beautiful place to stay,on a beautiful island, so much to do,if you want too, or just rest and relax from the busy world !Martinique is the nicest island in the French West Indies and I have visited most of the islands over the years. The host,Dominique, makes your stay a pleasure !doing everything to make your stay enjoyable, he goes out of his way to make sure you have a good time during your stay, I would visit every year, if I could. The other guests are indeed very accommdating, a very nice mix of people from all over the world, many remain friends to this day! I hated to leave the island to return to California and will always remember with great fondnest my wonderful visit to Martinique! I recommend it highly to all who wish to have a wonderful holiday in the sun !
